Just a few days back, I was reading about the recent decision by the Union Cabinet to carve out a sub-quota of 4.5 per cent for minorities within the 27 per cent reservation for OBCs. Suddenly, I realised about one fact, we all are same human beings, we live on the same world, yet there are so much differences among us.
Caste, creed, religion, quota everything is created by man itself. Even if we are same, yet these simple words make so much differences. It would have been so great, if there would have been no divisions on the names of Allah, Bhagwan, God etc. It would have been so much great, if love, peace and brotherhood would have been the only and common religion of every individual.
It’s so strange to think that, when we fall in love with someone, before trying to know his or her name, we try to enquire, to which religion does that person belong. Isn’t this very strange and funny?? After all, we all are same human beings, the colour of our blood is same, yet why there are so much divisions, differences and restrictions.
Sometimes, I feel, if I ever meet the creator of this world, I will ask a simple question, ”You have created only this world, but who have created all these divisions and differences?”
In today’s world everyone is so much busy with their own lifes that nobody have got the time to think about these things. Even if they have a bit of time, nobody wants to think about these issues. These things seem very much useless and unrealistic to them.
But at last I would just say that, sometimes if you are able to manage a bit of time from your busy schedule, please put an eye on these issues and think about them, may be you will find the key to life.
